I'm looking at 2 used AR's. One is a Lmt defender DI and the other is a lwrc M6a2 I think. Lmt is 1250 and the lwrc is 1350 I think. Both have quad rails and buis sights. This will be my first AR and I had budgeted around 1200 for it, but a little over is fine.
I have read the whole debate between piston and DI and am impartial either way. I just want a high quality gun to start taking classes and learning. Buy once cry once. Both guns looked like they had been safe queens but I could be wrong.
Which one would be better for a beginner carbine guy? I have experience with AK platforms, but have just developed a interest in ARs. . Do the prices seem to be inline with what they are worth?
What sort of things should I look for in both guns that could be problem indicators?
