I just got back from the range and wanted to share my results from some load testing. The basic load info is:

Lapua once fired, neck sized brass
Federal 210M primers
Hornady 178 AMAX
RE15 powder

Rifle:
Factory Remington 700P in .308 Win
Super Sniper scope
Acculock base
Seekins Rings
I had worked up to 43.5 grains before, but was seeing some stiff pressure signs, so I wanted to start fresh and work up again. The chrono results are as follows, chrono at 12 feet:

Temp: 27C
Pressure: 29.96 in
Altitude: 850 MSL
Sunny day using sky screens
5 shot groups from a bipod

1: Factory Winchester 180 gr PPT

2: 42.0 grains
Average - 2593
ES - 31
SD - 12

3: 42.5 grains
Average - 2641
ES - 32
SD - 12

4: 42.7 grains
Average - 2644
ES - 27
SD - 10

5: 43.0 grains
Average - 2662
ES - 22
SD - 9

6: 43.2 grains
Average - 2670
ES - 21
SD - 9

7: 43.5 grains
Only two shots fired, I didn't like the pressure signs.

These groups were shot at 100 yards. I hope the MS Paint numbers are not distracting!
