My wife recently bought me a Chronograph from midwayUSA (Competition Electronics ProChrono) for my birthday back in March 2014. So, i took it to the range, and omg this thing sucks lol. Anywho, Im doing various load work ups using OCW and Ladder tests. I get a lot of "Dupli" or duplicates while running OCW charges, more so if I have only a .2 or .3 of a grain difference. I stow the ammo in the shade and usually shoot one of each load working up, then back down, then back up (If I load 3 of each charge). Any ideas? Should I just buy a magnito speed and try again?

My Pro chrono is such an improvement over the old Chrony brand I had that I wish I'd shot the old one years ago.

I get more numerous duplicate velocities when I reach a "node" and those loads usually prove to be the most consistent accuracy-wise. Therefore I tend more to believe my readings, at least so far. I've only had it a few months, but I really like mine. Bear in mind I am NOT a competitor nor am I an "operator." Just a guy who enjoys reloading as much or more than shooting.

Is the magnetospeed that much better? Probably so judging from what I've read on here, but I don't have one because I do a lot of pistol loading as well. Kinda hard to attach one to a Glock or 1911 from what info I have on them.
