    Vegas Baby!
I didn't want to hijack the other chrono thread, so.....

The only real problem I have with my CED M2 is that its a bit unstable in even a little bit of wind. I'm sure my crappy tripod contributes to the problem, but has anyone come up with a good way to keep the damn thing from blowing over all the time? I know the CED tripod that's sold seperately has a hook at the bottom to hang a weight on, but the sky screens seem to be big sails in the wind and it wobbles a bit even with the tripod weighted down. Anybody come up with any good DIY ideas for the CED M2?

Edit: I don't have the CED tripod, just an old camera tripod

Yes. I'll take a picture of my CED M2 set up soon. I cut a 3/4" plywood to about 12"x12" (maybe a little bigger, I didn't measure). I drilled a hole in the middle and bought a screw that is threaded for the camera/tripod mount(don't remember the thread pitch, but it was 1" long). I screw the plywood onto the support rail, and set it up prone. The plywood adds weight and keeps it from moving around. The 3/4" plywood is level to the bottom of the sensors. I have not had mine blow over or move since. It works nice.
