Chuck has been doing 1917s and 1903s for me since about 2005. I thought I was done with restorations for those two rifles but after cleaning out the basement in the fall I found enough 1903 parts to make several rifles, but only 2 receivers. Off to Chuck went a pile of parts. I also sent him a WInny 1917 I got back a few months ago. Here is what I got back today. The scope is a Malcolm.
Although I am itching to take them out, I won't have the opportunity to bring them to the range for at least a week so just drooling over them will have to do for now.
