Cip bottom metal & mags for rem 700 any issues?

I have a rem 700 la and was gonna switch to a cip greyboe bottom metal and cip mag. Has anyone found any issues or anything i have to do to make it work? I heard alittle grinding

Measure the distance from the bolt face to the front edge of the feed ramp, with the bolt all the way back. That should be a starting point to see if your action will be compatible. I no longer have a Rem 700 in LA, so I can't help much beyond that.

A CIP magazine will measure 3.850" on the outside.
