My shooting has become more mobile and fluid these days and this rifle just sits and sits. Beautiful Clay Spencer 308, big ass heavy barrel at 27 inches. Necked long and tight for 208 eld-m's loaded to 2.978 COAL with 45 grains Norma URP and Fed GMM large rifle primers. Reloading is a must. This is a thousand yard .308 hammer, previously owned by chickentoast here on the Hide. I have about 25-30 loaded rounds, some brass and reloading supplies that will come with it. Rail is Leupold M4 20moa. Trigger is Jewel set to go if an earthworm breaks ground. Bipod NOT included. Leather bolt carrier and Sinclair bolt stop. I can leave the rings Leupold PRW 34mm. Brass should run you for 500-1000 rds. Lapua brass is great but should be measured and turned it needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into Bench Rest and/or the long range game, just add glass and get after it.

    Dropped 1250.00 shipped firm

    PayPal FF, Venmo, Zelle preferences.

Round count from me is 20. Round count from previous owner was very low I just cannot recall what it was.

Trades, so ok, couple of things I could be looking for:

    Steiner T5xi 3-15x50 (first priority)

    NSX 2.5-2.5-10x24 (second priority)

Really good condition ACOG (3rd place)

Trades should be of value around 1000-1500, need to clear a little cash on this for the Jeep’s new XL shoes

Mr Spencer seemed to be a very particular individual when it came to building rifles.

I believe the man had enough bench rest trophies around his shop to sink a cargo ship...

I've seen other 308s he put together that shot exceptionally well

I bet this will be one of those guns you regret selling later

It’s an exceptional rifle. Documented hits out to all but a grand on 9 inch plates. Needs a good loving home because I have no place now to make it do what it’s meant to do. Otherwise back to collecting dust.
