Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
SECTION 1. 18-12-109 (4) and (7), Colorado Revised Statutes, are amended, and the said 18-12-109 is further amended BY THE ADDITION OF THE FOLLOWING NEW SUBSECTIONS, to read:
(7) Any person who manufactures or possesses or who gives, mails, sends, or causes to be sent any false, facsimile, or hoax explosive or incendiary device or chemical, biological, or radiological weapon to another person or places any such purported explosive or incendiary device or chemical, biological, or radiological weapon in or upon any real or personal property commits a class 5 felony.

Although if I read it correctly it doesn't limit you from possessing the item on your personal property (i.e. your vehicle) but I definitely don't want to be arguing the letter of the law with nice mr. state trooper on I-25...

Yes, I agree that it is a GREAT idea. I'm wanting one also, and I don't even have a trailer hitch. Put it up on the high-point, maybe????

I can see it now..............you get pulled over and while you are waiting for the cop to come to the window, the bomb squad shows up, but sir i was only going 47 in a 35.......LOL

This is what would happen to me. Pulled over for burnt out tail light... spend 2 hours on the side of the road while the bomb squad detonated the tail gate of my truck. "Oh, guess you weren't lying. Well, have a nice day sir."
