I don't do it often. Once in the last 900 rounds.

Ar 15 chamber brush, wrapped entirely in patches. Spin the brush the same direction as the patches are wrapped. I started this on an AE who liked to create brass shavings early in it's life and kept doing it on my mkII and AW. Might as well keep the lugs clean as some of the places I shoot can put alot of dirt and particulate into the action.
