Do you clean tripods from time to time after being out in dusty/sandy conditions? I recently bought one in the PX sales. It’s obviously seen some time in the conditions, which is fine, but Id like to clean it up a little. Pretty much dirt in every crack and crevice. Grindy/gritty when rotating the rrs leveling base. Same when extending legs etc.

Suggest a good water hose rinsing them blow dry with compressed air?

i pressure wash everything

have a electric one 1800-2000 psi, plumed it into my garage with a hose reel

i pressure wash everything in the house now, boots, parts, anything that isnt fabric..life is so much easier lol

perfect for a tripod with nooks and threads etc

Compressed air for heads and general dust.

I've pulled apart the legs to wipe them down, but that's more a once a year thing to get the accumulated sand out of the locks and re-grease.
