I need to get a list of the Rifle Clubs and/or regular monthly type matches (individual) across the nation.
This list will be used to help formulate details on a new division within the new 2013 Precision Rifle Series. <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #3333FF">All clubs/venues or MD's that host 3 or more matches a year with a minimum of 15 participants should be considered and recognized.</span></span> Matches should be Precision Rifle/Practical/Tactical/Sniper related skills, Not F-class or High Power.

This is going to be a good thing in growing, organizing and involving more shooters in our sport. Rich and I have been talking back and forth for while now trying to get the details right. This year will be a good first step, but we want to run it by the whole PRS Committee and a few key folks before it goes public. If you know of a club/match that could benefit lets help em’ out!

Big Piney Sportsman's Club in Houston, MO has a Tactical match every other month to 800 yards. I'll contact the MD and have him buzz you. They have a lot of good simulators and put on a very good match. Range is top notch.

We alternate between a 100 thru 800 yard Sniper Match with simulators one month, and a Multi Range 100 thru 800 yard F Class the next month. (We shoot 5 rounds from 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, and 800 yards.)

<span style="font-weight: bold">Sniper Match:</span> We shoot on IDPA Paper silhouette targets. We can put up a maximum of 40 targets per Relay. No problem with Magnum Guns damaging targets at this match. We have Roof Simulators, Under Vehicle Simulators, Multi Use Simulators, Rural Mail Box Simulators, etc.

<span style="font-weight: bold">Multi Range F Class:</span> We shoot on a 5 Bull at 100 yards, a Single Bull at 200 yards, and a Hi Power Target from 300 back to 800 yards. We paste the bullet holes and mark the yardage on them from 300 back to 800 yards. This is a Club Designed Match.

We also have a Light Tactical Division in both the Sniper Match as well as the Multi Range F Class Match for 204's, 223's etc. This Division goes back to 600 yards. It shoots 5 rounds on the 100 yard, and 7 rounds at all other yardages.

We also do a 3 Gun Tactical match. Carbine, Shotgun, and Handgun. We normally start with the handgun in the Shoot House.

I (we) put on a monthly match in southern Indiana. 12 months a year, we only have a 540 yd maximum range but we make do. Attendance is usually 10 to 12 shooters off months, 14 to 16 warm months. Typically 7 to 8 stages lasting 4 hours, 90% to 100% steel 50 to 70 rounds fired. We occasionaly have a close range funhouse stage included with handguns and or an AR. Shooters need not be a member to shoot. Contact info on the web site, redbrush.org, Tom Ancona (me) runs/hosts the match.

Gary Eliseo puts on a tactical rifle match every few months or so at Burbank Rifle and Revolver club in Castaic.. I've attended two of them and they have been quite fun, and I have walked away scratching my head with new knowledge each time.
