CMC 700 Trigger

Anybody tried them?

I just bought two at a very good price, one flat, one curved. Just wondering what your thoughts were on them. I should have them by Monday.

308pirate makes a good point. B6graham isn’t the only one that has never heard of them because I haven’t either. The CMC 700 sounds good but the price I seen is way too much considering it’s an unknown product. When I want an inexpensive trigger I go with one of the Riflebasix triggers. If the CMC 700 doesn’t work out for you maybe give them a chance. Good luck and I hope they work good for you.

Ive heard good things about it on instagram but thats via hunters and not precision match shooters.
I was under the assumption that its adjustment range was like 2-4 lbs but in researching it again just now I see 8oz - 3.5 lbs so thats much more respectable than I was thinking.


Edit: Bolt release integral to the trigger? Thats actually pretty freaking cool.

Dont like the exposed internals but I never really had an issue with it in my jewell despite horror stories

No, no I do not. They would’ve been gone, as I got two brand new triggers for the price of one. I know CMC to be a quality manufacturer of triggers for other platforms, so I figured for that price it’s well worth the gamble.

As you wish. It just smacks of confirmation bias. Maybe not you, but we get too many people with that same approach that start a shitfest when they're told what they just bought is a POS.

I’ve been a member of this forum for 11 years bro, I’ve seen it all. The good old days were better.

Even if they suck they're going to be better than an X Mark, and I’ve got 5-6 actions laying around that have them still hanging around. I’ll make sure to let you know how these ones do!
