Do you have any examples of Trump's socialist programs? I can't recall any. Tax cuts for...everyone? Conservative supreme court justices? The only thing I would accuse him of is being a patriot. Oh my god, what a fuckin' nightmare!
Would you care if I said that America already has socialist programs en masse and since he has not abolished or even antagonized them in any form other than verbal posturing that he's complacently facilitating socialism through the highest office in the land? Do you think that the defining element of socialism is when the government controls the means of production, and then to prop up American industry's net losses for the sake of world economic leverage on the taxpayer's dime is somehow not socialist but instead patriotic? Forgive me if I've forgotten the free trade pushing socialists in history, but I'm under the impression that's pretty archetypically socialist as well. If it's not socialist, then please tell me where does it say that spending money from the labor of others is patriotic.
Lower taxes? That's largely about perspective. "I would impose a one-time 14.25% net worth tax on individuals and trusts with a net worth of over $10 million.” Translation: Knock knock, it's Trump. Pay me because I fucking said so. In my opinion, all taxation without direct consent is a required basis of socialism. I don't knock him for not abolishing taxes, as if it were so easy realistically, but his tax policy is not based on logic or fairness. It's based on the government's (specifically the WH) foreseen fiscal needs. I can reduce taxes all day long, but if I don't reduce welfare systems the tank is going to empty and budget problems will amass when I want to force the initiative on something. Something like a wall, maybe. Or perhaps socialized medicine!
“The goal of health care reform should be a system that looks a lot like Canada.” and "We must have universal healthcare.” sounds cheap as fuck and an awesome totally not socialist ideal. Good job. I'm sure the $28 billion he fucked into the farming industry just came out of the same thin air or wherever the fuck you must think this money comes from.
You wouldn't know a patriot if George Washington kicked you in the cunt, you just want to be a political tribalist and Trump stirs your batter with his persona. You forget that no patriot would ever abide the curtailing of any part of the BOR. Nor would they encourage unworthy, or discourage worthy, industry businesses to struggle on a citizen's dime because he/she won't shut the fuck up on the world stage. Nor would they collect and keep social security while doing all of this for fear the citizens would instead invest their money themselves on the world market and get the average rate of yearly return— perhaps then actually benefitting from where their tax money goes every time it has to bandaid a bunch of tariffs and/or piece of shit American companies that can't turtle walk their ass into obscurity to be replaced by actually capable American companies.
I ain't getting my brains beat out for a single person in the federal system. Half our fucking government is incompatible with democracy, let alone liberty. Trump holds the highest office in the land, and yet he does less than nothing about it. Fucking stupid hill for a patriot to die on, I don't know how anyone can't see that.
