Coated Bullets

What are your thoughts (pros/cons) on reloading and shooting polymer coated bullets in 9mm handguns (glock and cz)?

I run them [122 & 147] through my G-19 and tp9sfx. no problems and shoot [group] better than plated {Berry's}

Have had good luck using the hi tec coated bullets from buyou bullets. Believe other companies offer this coating also. Shot out of Springfield xd and Glocks. Cheaper than plated bullets too.

They are just fine and typically accurate enough. The money savings is definately appealing. Back off about .5 gr of powder from jacketed data. I have never had good luck with plated bullets.

powdercoated our own cast bullets for a long time. worked great.

I started coating bullets around 2010 and could not find a single reason to dislike them. They work just as good as jacketed and are cleaner.

I have shot a few thousand bayou bullets thru a stock glock 35. I clean the barrel after about 300 rounds or so. No problems and they shoot great.
