Could be KDH Exporters (Japan) Shunga Erotic carved grips.

I need a pic of the lower butt end (near mag well) sharp and close to determine material. Also shot of initials if possible.

If ivory, loosen those screws!

and I would say one heck of a pair!

i get the pic out thanks helpful info,and i will loosen screws,they are ivory i took it down to peretersons he wanted to buy them on the spot the KDH is cap letters,intertwined

Intertwined is not KDH Exporters, their's are blacked too.

If it was me, I would hold on to them and find the right .45 down the road.

thanks, the day i showed up with the commander @ the gunshop he offered me 700.00,for the grips, they came w/the commander i paid 1400.00 for it also have a pair for checkered ivovy's made in 1950s late according to Ron,i'll send you a pic (pm) thanks for your help,if you get a chance send me a pic of yours like to see them.
