Colt Nickel competition trigger

I had one in a rifle many years ago. At the time, there weren’t many other options.

No idea who made it or the materials used.

Only issue that I recall is that the lighter hammer spring caused light primer strikes and made it unreliable with some surplus South African M193 that I was using at the time.

Trigger pull was just OK. About equivalent to something like a ALG ACT.

If you already have one, go ahead and run it. I wouldn’t buy one now, given the options available.

OK. I bought a unfired Colt Pistol build with an HRT barrel and the seller had installed one. I don't plan to fire that particular firearm at this point but dry firing it seems to have a nice crisp snap. Compared to my geissele triggers, etc. it definitely wouldn't be my choice for a competition or long range trigger but it seemed nice for a defense or combat trigger...not gritty like the regular mil spec triggers on my Colt rifles.
