The RCBS 45-270-SAA is a real heavy hitter and actually made for the SAA. Hits high though due to the heavier weight.

Correct. You can adjust your POI through weight and speed before you go to filing sights. Windage if you’re lucky but if it’s too far off in windage you’re either filing the sight channel or bending the front sight, or trying to turn the barrel which can more pain in the ass than you can imagine depending if you have to remove threads and recut the forcing cone.

That’s worse case scenario. Most are sighted pretty damned good for what they are.
