Tactical Immersion will be conducting a Combat Pistol Immersion course at Cedar Ridge range North of San Antonio area on 6-7 October. This is a 2 day (16 hour) long basic to intermediate level course that covers several topics involving the use of a pistol in combat conditions. This is not a rules, laws or use of force orientated training course. This course is focused on developing pistol marksmanship skills to high level as well as all of the employment skills needed to use a pistol effectively in combat. Students will be given a basic skills test prior to training, and given final skills test upon completion of the course. The test scores will be used to show the students their margin of improvement as well as determine successful course completion.

Students should be in good physical shape and without significant physical or medical limitation when attending this course.***</span>

<span style="font-weight: bold">Equipment needed:</span>
Eye and Ear protection
Knee and elbow Pads (highly recommended but optional).
Service Pistol with 3 magazines (5 magazines recommended) and 750 rounds of serviceable ammunition.
Quality belt mounted magazine pouches and holster.
5 dummy rounds.
Weather appropriate, sturdy clothing and good footwear such as hiking boots that provide good ankle support
Sunscreen, bug spray, drinking water and snacks are highly recommended.
Athletic or medical tape for fingers and hands is also recommended.


Course cost: $300; we offer a 10% discount to all (active, reserve & retired) MIL, LE, FIRE and EMS. The discount is also available for single parents and public educators.
