Wondering if anyone has any pictures of groups/load data using a Compass Lake match chambered Krieger barrel? Always read good things about them, just seeing if anyone has some pics of groups 5-600 yards and in?

Alan,
Sounds like you are asking for 5.56MM groups so here is a 500yd. & 100yd. group with a 5.56MM 77gr. SMK fired with 18" SS 1x7.7 Krieger/CLE MATCH chamber with M4 can. I had Frank put a rifle length gas system on this barrel & it functions 100% suppressed or unsuppressed. Take these groups with a grain of salt because I shot them off my 4WD Tacoma's tool box. And I am a decent shooter but nothing special. Give me a proper concrete benchrest and I feel confident that I could shrink these groups given trigger pull conditions. The smallest 500yd. group of the day was the first that morning before the sun energized the wind/mirage and was approx. 2.6 500yds. with the same 77gr. SMK load. The LSA 77gr. SMK, BHA 77gr. SMK AMU load, & the SWA 77gr. SMK loads all shot about the same. When I put these (3) loads over the chrono, I had a better understanding of why. All (3) loads were within less than 10 FPS of each other @ approx. 2746 FPS. Groups with the BHA MK 262 MOD 1 tactical cartridge were a little wider but MV was pushed up to 2825 FPS in same barrel. HTH

5.56MM LSA 77gr. SMK fired from 18" Krieger with 24X BR scope & M4 can 500yds. & 100 yds.: 3.27" & 0.51"

80gr. VLD over 5.56MM pressure TAC seated over-mag-length COAL 2.390" in virgin LAPUA brass at 750yds. & 100 yds.: MV 2822 with SD 6.24 FPS

77gr. SMK over 5.56MM pressure TAC seated to mag-length COAL 2.255" in virgin LC brass@750yds same day/same condition: MV 2827 with SD 10.04 FPS

This is a very functional field shooting platform but not a proper BR. Beyond the truck is the jungle I hunt. This is a private road on posted property behind a locked gate.

That's what I was looking for..good shooting :). I've never tried TAC yet, but may when my new barrel comes in. I'll be using the 18" also and eventually ops model 12 can when my paperwork clears ( prob year from now).

TAC is a magical powder. It makes heavy 223 bullets fly very fast and accurate. The only problem with it is you can't get it now.

Poor bastards. I've passed on more TAC than i can shake my stick at. I picked up a couple 8lbers soon as the shit hit the fan and haven't touched em. Still working on the 1lb cans.
I agree it is magic with heavy bullets. Best powder I've tried for 77+gr pills. Try some 70.5 vlds and 75 amax's if you find TAC.
