I have ordered a Bighorn SR3 action (short) in a 6.5PRC. It has a small shank Savage Threads 1-1/16 - 20 ./ I ordered a #o featherweight 22inch barrel from Krieger and supplied Krieger with the action info. Krieger told me they could build a finished barrel compatible with that action. A gunsmith said no way. Not sure what he means or he didn't quite understand what I was doing. I need some input guys.
