I'm sure this is a topic that has been beaten to death but I'm hoping to go about it in a new way.
I'm purchasing a Tikka T3 Varmint .308 and I need some optics to go with it. I'm looking for a mil dot scope that is in the $400-$600 range. Price is somewhat flexible. I'd like to use it for prairie dogs, other hunting, and plenty of paper shooting.
What I'm looking for is a list of products that members of the forum might have handled or experienced. If I can compile a list, I plan to start doing my homework and find the one I want.
