I thought I would post up a pic of the new COMPs I got from HasGunWillTravel, Grand River Tactical, here on the hide. They function quite well and are very solidly made. I need another one too, btw, same as these HGWT if you see this since I have yet another coyote killer ready to build.

Re: COMPs

I just bought two. The muzzle protectors are heavily padded, and these things are handy for attaching to your rifle before placing it (otherwise unprotected) muzzle-down into an Eberlestock pack.

Re: COMPs

Hide member HasGunWillTravel is the person I bought mine from. It is all part of the same kit. It has a detachable muzzle protector and a scope protector with MOLLE webbing where a feller could attach other things if they wanted.

Re: COMPs

They look good ARP. Are th leashes to long for the muzzle protectors? I can shorten them up if you want...

I am not sure if I still have your measurements, but I can whip another one up for you when I get done with my run of shooting mats.

Graham is right, I just picked up a Eberlestock Gunslinger, and was real nervous about setting the pack down, upright, with the muzzle on the ground, and stuck one of my COMPs of the rifle, added protection , and peice of mind. I have had several members ask if it will fit in a gunslinger, and I didnt know, but I do know, and its is perfect.

The website is still the bane of my existance..no sure time yet, I am still compiling pics, and making the layouts and graphics. No time line, just coming soon

. Just doing the pM thing for now.

Re: COMPs

Thanks Nick. What is the length of the scope cover? Most ones I've seen online are about 18". I want one to cover my Konuspot 80, which is 16.5" and always live on a Bogen tripod. I'd like a good one to allow me to wrap it while it's still attached, and don't like the Creedmore, etc. scope covers.

Thanks.
