This is Contessa's version of a Spuhr mount. I mistakenly ordered the 30mm instead of the 34mm.

$260 shipped, these retail for $329 plus shipping and tax.

I bought it from Europe, and it is too expensive to return the normal way.

The Tier One is aluminum so it is quite a bit thicker (as it has to be, as aluminum is 30-80% weaker material than steel).

They weight within .1 oz of each other. With the contessa being heavier at 7.7 versus 7.6 for the Tier 1.

Contessas are 1.35 from the ring split to the engagement on the rail (lowest point on the rail clamp), the numbers engraved on the side are SBTFX02 30 DEGREES.

Bottom of ring to lowest point on rail clamp is .940.
