Gunsmithing Conversion question

I have a Remington 700 in 6mm that I want to convert to a 308.

Would there be any problems with this conversion other than the bolt face of one is .472 and the other is .473? Are the actions the same otherwise?

Yep - basically a rebarrel. 6mm is based on the 7x57 case which is a "nominal" .473. Not sure where you are getting the .472, but the case heads are (supposedly) the same.

New barrel should do it for you.
