Converting a Savage 17 HMR Mark II to .22lr

Is this possible or even practical? If so, could I just do a barrel swap or is a new bolt, etc needed.

It would probably be cheaper to buy an fv 22lr and sell the 17hmr. Or keep it and have both.

You could always buy a sako quad and have it all.

Or the CZ 455. They interchange too.
