Well I built a 300 win on a older long action Savage I had to get into long range shooting. But the place I was planning on shooting is now closed and my Closest range is only 100 yards. So I decided to Rebarrel to a long action 308. So what will I need? Barrel, bolt face, firing pin will the extractor and springs work from my magnum bolt? I have the lug and barrel nut already which are from Sharp shooters supply. I also have all the tools because I have Rebarreled the action once already. Im going to have to figure out how to make the 308 feed reliably out of my Acis 300 win magazine. Anyone done this yet?

You'll need a barrel and a bolt head. Everything else will transfer, and firing pin is actually adjustable.
I've converted 270WSM to 308 and 223 and back.....
My bottom metal takes Acis mags. I have heard a couple people are using 300 win mags by Adjusting the feed lips. I wonder if I can get it to work.
