Coup de Gras and Manners LRH

This is buried in the CDG thread but thought it would get more attention here.

Assembling CDG long action in Manners LRH stock with bdl bottom metal with extended Wyatt box magazine.

Stock needed to be inlet to clear the trigger hanger. Not a big deal.

A bigger deal is the Wyatt box hits the trigger hanger. Only solution seems to be to inlet the metal box at the bottom to clear the hanger.

Anyone experience this?

No but that seems like an easy solution. Will the follower hit it?

Probably.

I have since called American Rifle Company. Very helpful but they tell me the CDG will not accept BDL.

They recommended DBM bottom metal and AICS CIP magazines.

Hawkins tells me they are producing custom pillars for the CDG and that a bump needs to be removed from the back of the action.

The CDG obviously runs well in a chassis but seems not to play well with bottom metal.
