Somebody had hacked the Chinese national COVID infection tracking database on the day before the lockdowns in China were suddenly and completely lifted and replaced the webpages with that very image. For about 6 hours anyone and any agency visiting that site only got that image until the tech people removed the malware that had locked the site in place, and then they found out that all of the data that had been stored in there were corrupted. Irretrievable and wiped or permanently damaged. THREE years of pandemic accumulating data and trends utterly destroyed. Even the red and green health app scanners in many cities went offline and could not be used because they were linked to this site and it had been heavily damaged.

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Niger and Nigeria are two completely different countries. You however are partially correct though maybe on accident.

Nigerians as you have spelled it refers to people from Nigeria, not Niger.

Yes, Niger, people from there. Whats the plural form of that? In english?

Nigeriens with an E is from Niger. Nigerians with an A is from Nigeria. Subtle difference but different none the less. Not a big deal but if you were say reading anything official it would be spelled differently to reflect which country without a lot of confusion.

Wait, so where is the prince from that's gonna split his family wealth with me? Is he a Niger or a Nigeria? Wait, wouldn't a Nigeria be a princess instead? God, I'm so confused now.

If people from Nigeria are called Nigerians what are people from Niger called?🤔

Are things changing over there ?, I thought ... the US Gov., with IMF/ World Bank already owns Niger with it's predator lending keeping Niger in perpetual debt . Money washes to hands of a few, while zero money ever makes to the main population living in poverty.

Maybe thats why some real Nigeriens took control and why the US and Nato are lining up against them.

Follow the money.

As nouns the difference between nigerian and nigerien

is that nigerian is a person from Nigeria or of Nigerian descent while Nigerien is a person from Niger or of Nigerien descent.

As adjectives the difference between nigerian and nigerien

is that nigerian is of, from, or pertaining to Nigeria, the Nigerian people or culture while Nigerien is of, from, or pertaining to Niger or the Nigerien people.

The phone/email scam people are Nigerians, with an A.

You can tell because the people in Niger speak French as one of their primary languages. They were a French colony until the 1960s.

Nigeria on the other hand has a lot of English speaking people because Nigeria was taken over by the British in the mid 1800s all the way until the 1960s.

In other words the Nigeriens can only scam French Canadians whereas Nigerians can target the US.

The French took over what is now Niger back in the 1800s. The British took over what is now Nigeria also in the 1800s.

You had two different colonies side by side for quite a while, both coexisting under different rule, and hence different languages until the 1960s.

Then both Niger and Nigeria became independent around the same time as each other.

This is also why we have so many Nigerians in America.

The British and the US are overall pretty close. Nigerians still are given the same rights as 'subjects of the crown' so whatever deal we get with the UK will also extend in large part to Nigeria.

Send in Erik Prince.

This is the way forward.
He’s operated in Niger before but years ago in 2014 not sure now?

”The use of contractors hasn’t always been ideal. In July 2014, a small twin engine CASA 212 cargo plane carrying American special operators made an emergency landing in Uganda, shining a light then on the secretive American mission to help African forces hunt downmembers the Lord’s Resistance Army and the group’s enigmatic leader Joseph Kony. Thankfully, no one was injured.

At the time, EP Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of AAR Corporation, operated the plane on behalf of the U.S. military. Infamous private military contractor Erik Prince had formed the company, which he named after himself, before selling it off to AAR. EP Aviation still has this contract for airlift and casualty evacuation support across Central Africa.”

Looks like EP Air got a new Africa contract in 2017 but article is behind paywall.

I know a different country, but the root causes are the same. There is a fairly OK movie called Siege of Jadotville. It goes into the "reasons" behind this.....way back in the early 60's. Countries coming in and basically raping the country for its natural resources.

There are a very few that are native to these African countries that get rich. Where as the majority live is conditions that are just horrid by 15th century standards. The people are getting sick of this corruption.

Up to now it has been an endless cycle, you get a guy that comes to power one way or the other and wants to get a fair deal for his country. Tosses out off landers. And starts the process of setting things right. It never gets very far, his brains are always exposed to fresh air sooner rather then later, and another decade of war will hit the country again. IMHO this is why any African, well sub saharan africa will never get anywhere. They are being screwed with by people 6000 miles away. An endless cycle. With the "other side" supported from some country somewhere else, they get in power, pay back the favors, get wealthy in the process, "the people" get sick of it, and the entire cycle starts all over again.

The root of all this needs to be pulled up, and that root is very deep.

Is that a bad thing or a good thing?

Bad. They will eventually be bought out by the Chinese.

Africa is what we're going to be fighting over in the next 10-15 years due to all of the resources they have and the inability to fucking do anything right.

Our clusterfuck of a ROE and how we use the military is a giant liability. The way forward is to use large PMC's for acute campaigns without any of the bullshit.

From the article above- The only way that Niger can decrease its dependency on foreign aid (which accounts for 40 per cent of its annual budget) is through increased mining taxes.

War between two countries over another countries natural resources? And people wonder why the Russians don't want NATO on their border.
Who would have imagined that the USA would be involved in that? Wait, ahhh nevermind.

Those who assign all of Africa's problems on various European nations are missing the most important part of the puzzle. The African himself.
Tribal raiding was not introduced by Europeans, it goes back to the beginning. Lack of industry on the part of the male population, abuse of women, excess alcohol consumption, cannibalism. All were common and none were introduced by Europeans.

It is all a tradition. What the Europeans did was decrease mortality from violence and disease. Slowed the slave raids and sale of slaves. Reduced cannibalism in ritual and nutritional aspects. Tried to institute morality on an immoral people. It caused overpopulation, famine and oddly more violence as the normal attrition through daily raiding, rape and murder simply postponed the inevitable. Allowed the numbers to get higher. (Think Rwanda.) Instead of daily attrition, you get a 50 year build up and then a cataclysmic event.

European's hands are far from clean. To present the Africa as some pre European utopia ignores the endemic violence of Africa and the Africans themselves.
