So today was range day w/ my SPR clone (Iron Sight's only) and noticed a couple things. First it appears my gas block is leaking at the top-front, notice in picture. The gas block I have is a YHM .750 2 set-screw block.

Is there anything that can be done besides buying a new block? Lastly the fixed stock assembly is a used unit I got for FREE from my friend. This is the first Rifle length rifle AR-15 I have shot. After each shot I can feel/hear a spring vibration in the stock. Is that any chance sign's of a worn out buffer spring?

Overall i'am very impressed w/ the accuracy of the Rainier Arms Match barrel and quality of everything else.

Re: Couple of Questions w/ build

All gas blocks leak a little bit. I wouldn't worry about it as long as your gun is functioning fine. As for the infamous 'sproing' sound of the buffer spring, that's also normal. It's a bit annoying at first, but it works great for letting you know when the bolt locks back. You'll get used to it eventually. Lightly greasing the inside of the buffer tube helps muffle the sound a little bit.

Edit: Dammit, I have to start typing faster.

Ok that's good news, the rifle functioned perfect. I used a mix of factory ammo and some reloads I had, look forward to using this for some long range use.
