National Review’s David French notes, “This is exactly correct, and it’s buttressed by the plain constitutional truth that there exists ‘a first principle that lies at the heart of the Fourth Amendment — that the government may not target and seize specific individuals without any particular suspicion of wrongdoing, then force them to prove that they are not committing crimes.’”

That statement is exactly correct and is the grenade laying under the so-called “red flag laws”
The assumption of guilt with no underlying evidence.

In general SCOTUS is one of the few Law bodies I truly admire. I know everything is political, but I truly believe they are attempting to abide by the constitution. My issue with pieces about their rulings is I find I'm not hearing all sides and so I never know if I should be angry at a ruling, or at a writer's interpretation of a ruling.
