Couple questions about Savage rifle

I just picked up a Savage 110 Tactical in 6.5 Creedmoor and have a couple questions.

- I thought the 10 vs 110 was short action vs long action, and that 6.5 CM was short action. I'm looking at getting a chassis (probably an Oryx), do I order LA or SA?

- Is there a decent aftermarket trigger that's highly recommended?

- I took the stock off to do a quick rattle can job. What do I need to torque the bolts back to on reinstall? Is there anything special I need to do to ensure proper operation of the rifle?

- I've been told to snag back up extractor and ejector in case they go out. Anything else I should replace or upgrade?

Measure the bolt spacing.
new short action at 4.40.

Target trigger spring works well and there’s a few aftermarket options

action screw torque depends on stock/chassis.

tactical works extraction upgrade is nice.

If it's a plastic stock, hope you didn't get it shooting good before taking it off and putting it back on. 25 in lbs is all you need for the plastic stock.

Took mine off because barrel was making contact with stock, so I shaved some off. Took about 40 rounds and loosening/tightening screws to 25 in lbs multiple times to get back to shooting sub moa. A better stock/chassis will fix that problem.

It's the Accustock, but still waiting for my scope so I haven't done anything yet.

Just guessing but most likely means 25 in lbs

just FYI before you start torquing

you could always find a wood stock to drop the barrel and action in if you don't like the plastic have seen others doing that and they shoot darn good .
