Coverage of the 2023 IPRF Rimfire World Championship

Yeah when I moved back home in 2020 and got into prs/nrl I couldn't belive how many shooters there were. But as I've went to a couple outta state matches now. There's great shooters in the woodwork everywhere. And new great shooters emerging everyday.

Watching that makes watching paint dry look like fun
Shooting at small targets at centerfire equivalent of 600-1000y can only involve so much action.

Things got wet .................. watching things dry look like fun for the moment

They did a terrible job covering this. I had multiple friends go and still dont know who won what? The centerfire scores were everywhere

Indeed for folks not involved its all kinda hard to find ,results are available here .

I would be interested in a breakdown of team USA gear. 1. They won everything, and 2 - have access to any gear- unlike their competitors.I followed it on the Shootermindset stream - no problem.

US and Canadian teams were pretty well kited out nearly all rocking custom rifles. Euro folk is still somewhat behind as discipline is only just picking up and custom rifles are not a thing for now.
Importing Voodo or Rimex or anything else for that matter is prohibitively expensive in Europe (basically price doubles) and it seems like Anschutz 1710APR and possibly 54.18 will be worthy alternatives.

Euro folks with new Anschutz 1710 in MDT chassis taking the crown in Factory division, and Victrix Venus were as near to custom you can get in EU , on the other hand, number of CZ457s with stock factory barrels got top spots in the open as well as in factory division.

In terms of optics ZCO527 and Kahles 525DLR in Europe cost less than Razor Gen III and much less than ATACR 7-35 but i still think it was team USA with most ZCOs on the line.

I know several of them were shooting Anschutz rifles. 1710’s in Factory and some 64’s in open.

Yes individualy , and i think Czech Anschutz-sponsored team won the team event and scored at least one individual podium with the same 1710 in MDT ACC. It looked like all Anschutz Factory podium.
