Crimson Trace laser light not projecting

New guy here with a Crimson Trace Green Laser on my Kimber Pro Carry II. Model # LG-401
The light is not projecting. I can see some light when I press the button via my grip but get no projection on a subject. It is like the light is twisted out of the sight line.
Is there a way of correcting this?
Even with the 50% discount that Crimson Trace is offering me it is still quite expensive to replace.
Any info on repairing the sight line on this would be wonderful.

I experienced this, but it was my grip that was blocking the projection.

Unfortunately this is not the case here. It just won't project. I can look down the sight and only see a faint green light.
