This is the original and not the BTR? What are all the differences between the Cronus and Cronus BTR?

I am not certain. I believe this is a Gen 1. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can answer this gentleman's question

Allow me.
Yes this is a Gen1, AKA non-BTR model. The main difference is the parallax turret marking, otherwise, optically it is comparable. This is one heck of a scope. I have the non-BTR Cronus and a Gen2 Razor and they are comparable to me.

From Athlon website:

"We improved the parallax adjustment yard markings to go from 25 yards to infinity.

We have added markings at 300, 500, 800 and 1600 yards. It has been designed with a new reticle, plus a re-designed battery compartment to make it easier to adjust the illumination."

Thank you for the information bdn... and didn't know where to start price wise so always open to offers

Thanks for the bump. Yes ...it's an excellent quality for the price. I can see 22 lr hits at 300 on paper fairly easily
