Looking at one of these and wondering how people like them. Will be mostly for 9mm ar, 556, 300blk and maybe my 6.5x47 bolt gun. I like what I see from their videos, but I don't know anyone with one so I'd like to hear some opinions about it. Thanks.

Do yourself a favor and skip Crux. Their "Our Science" page on their website is complete BS, and so is most everything I've seen in their YouTube videos with the guy that takes a long sip of coffee while weirdly staring at the camera and says "okay" every 10 seconds, who I'm assuming is Curtis. Their silencer is just a simple monocore with nothing actually special in it despite what they'd have you believe.
Do have experience with crux cans or are you telling me to disregard them based on their videos and website?

Their cans are effective. They are NOT TBAC levels of quality or suppression though.
I have a few of their cans. Yes, I have multiple cans from a company I am telling you to steer clear of. Most of these cans sit in my safe and only come out when I need to shoot multiple rifles when going out with friends. I got so many because my local dealer was offering them to me at his cost.
-They're high back pressure on a semi auto. I am talking like basically designed for cycling issues.
-Their mount is... ineffective at just being a brake.
-If you look at their design and see the end caps, well bud, those don't seal. I chewed through a couple expensive can wraps on them.
When I contacted Crux their response was "you have to shoot it a few hundred rounds to seal the ends off before you do that"
-While I have had a couple good experiences with their warranty service, it has gotten longer and less communicative each time until the last time related later in this post that turned me off of them for good. A big red flag is HOW familiar I am with their warranty service. These weren't baffle strikes, these were cracks, outer body rotating around the core, extremely bad leakage around the end caps (even after the supposed hundreds of rounds of carbon fouling it apparently takes to seal them)
-Their brake mounts are always hard to find in stock, I recommend the Area419 mounts to anyone out there trying to salvage some use out of their purchases.
-Now the big one. The last can I sent to them was there for months, no phone calls no response to messages or emails, nothing. When i finally did hear from them it was a call to get my address to ship back to me. I thought this was weird because I put my address on everything including the copy of the stamp etc. and they had serviced my items multiple times already. So several weeks later a box FULL of someone else's products shows up at my door. Nothing was done for me and I still didn't get my can for MONTHS after sending their box of someone elses stuff back. I finally had to track the owner down on FB and insist he send my can back unrepaired immediately so that's what he did after another couple of months. I now own a VERY expensive .338 titanium paperweight that doesnt even look good because half the finish was scratched off in the incomplete repair process...
I used to stick up for these guys when people would shit all over them but never again. The cans aren't bad when they haven't failed but I would stick with companies that care more about communication and service.
TLDR; just buy a gd TBAC and be done with it. I love mine and it's definitely my go to can and will stay that way.

Got an ark at the bad advice from a friend who later regretted the referral. Overpaid for it. Showed up and the tube spun when I was trying to tighten it on the muzzle. Called them and they said to send it in and if have it back in about 2 weeks. It took about 3 months until I saw it again, but in that time, there were over a dozen unreturned emails, unreturned calls, a registered letter, and I posted my tribulations on this forum, only to be ridiculed by some loyal customers for shitting them up. One guy did try to help and for all I know, maybe he did make a difference in the end. But I finally resorted to calling the atf for advice. The agent advised me to dispute the charge on my card. I did just that, and in about 3 days, the can shows up in my mailbox.
Then a guy from crux calls me and tells me that I need to show proof that I withdrew the dispute within 24 hrs or else I committed a federal fraud that had to be reported to the atf. I laughed and told him I took the dispute down and I’ll get to the proof thing when I get to it. Total bullshit intimidation move undoubtedly done out of vindictiveness.
I gave them every opportunity to make things right but they snubbed the shit out of me. But here’s the icing on the cake: when I got the can back, there was a rattle in it. I miraculously used some skills and a hemostat, and ended up fishing out what looked to be a bent piece of a finishing nail in the baffles. Coincidence???? Highly doubtful and I would bet my balls that motherfucker stuffed that shit in there as punishment.
The only time that can is used is on my 300 blk. No fucking way I’m gonna trust that pos on my precision rifles

Late to the game but I'll add some perspective. I purchased an Archangel when they first introduced them here on the Hide under the Templar Tactical banner. My experiences have been limited to a direct thread option on a bolt rifle and i too experienced the outer body rotating around the core around the 200 round mark. My experience with their customer service included good communication and a decent turn-around time. As of now, no further issues and I've never experienced any POA/POI deviation. The decibel suppression appears comparable with other major manufactures in side-to-side comparisons but it was never metered.
What charge did you wind up disputing? Did they charge you for warranty work on a can that spun the first time you tried to use it?
