Hi folks,

Looking for a good value red dot.

Ideally a sub 4 MOA dot and a Docter footprint.

What are folks recommending currently?

Thanks in advance,

Scrummy

Did any of you numbnuts who already recommended a particular red dot notice that the OP didn't specify the application BUT DID specify that it needs to be a Docter Optics foot print?

Pretty fucking smart to suggest products that fit Trijicon and Aimpoint footprints.....

What's the application: pistol, shotgun, rifle?

If it's a rifle, is this the primary sight or something secondary/backup?

Why a Docter footprint, is this for a pistol milled to fit?

Back up on a rifle, probably at 45 or 90 degrees on a scope.

Docter footprint because I have other docter footprint sights and corresponding mounts / accessories etc

Burris fast fire III is a good dot, I believe it is the right footprint
I have one on my Benelli Supernova and it is good. Seems to have gone up in price (or maybe just my perception).

This is arguably the most comprehensive list of red dot optic footprint compatibility. It should narrow down your list of options

By the way if you want a true Docter sight, the company is now Noblex

Vortex Viper. Burris Fastfire 2 or 3.

Hi @308pirate

Thanks, I was aware of the article. It's a great reference but doesn't tell me a lot about value, sadly.

The new Steiner MPS…comes with a Docter footprint adapter.
