Curtis Axiom and ARC mags

Any one had success using ARC mags with Curtis Axiom Actions?

Tried 1 mag full with an ARC, just prefer the MDT 12 rnd mags. They have been flawless for 1700 rnds. Not 1 malfunction.

I'm currently attempting to use the ARC mags w/ PVA 6BR kit in my Axiom. Had to do some very minor finishing to the follower, but so far, so good. I'm not quite ready to use them at a match, but should have the bugs worked out shortly.

They would not work in my Remington or axiom. The rounds will slide forward while cycling and will hang underneath the feed ramp. You would be lucky to get a couple out of 10 to feed. I am sure you can modify the action by notching the feed ramp to get them to work but it wasn’t worth it to me. I sold mine in the exchange here.

So, after an ass load of work that included several different springs in the ARC mags and the PVA spacer kits, I finally threw in the towel on this project. The only way it would come close to working was with a spring from a PR spacer kit. Even then, it was only about 60% function in my CC Axiom. The Rem 700 was slightly better at around 75% function. Both guns are std. 6BR.
With a little more effort, I probably could have gotten them to work in the Rem, but if a mag won't work in both, I don't have much use for it.
