Curtis Valor SA in 300 WSM

I was thinking and leaning towards making a switch barrel setup, and have narrowed down to a Curtis Valor (since the wait for a Terminus Zeus is what it is). However, I was wondering if there’s any reason it would have a problem with 300 WSM, I’ve heard of Remington 700 style actions needing some work to make the feeding ramp actually load the round. Is there any reason to believe I’d have to single load it? Or could I get a detachable mag to work?

I have a Curtis Axiom that feeds my 300 WSM perfectly. The Valor should be the same.

Perfect! Good to know. What’s the rest of that build? Might try to mimic it for my own if that’s alright, if it works might as well!

I’m running a 26” barrel with a SAAMI 300 WSM chamber. If you are going to mag feed you will have to stay within the 2.95” cartridge length. I run 208 Berger LRHT at 3.05 at 3030 fps under Reloder 26 at 69.3 grains.
