Custom 280 Ackley Improved?

I was looking at buiding a custom hunting rifle and was interested in the 280 Ackley. Ive heard that it was a light recoiler and I hear they have the potential to be extremly accurate. Anyone have one of these or any good info on yhis caliber?

280 Ackley; outstanding round for your application, duplicates 7 Rem mag with less powder. However...
