Custom action using Accuracy International prefit

Looking for a next project and keep seeing ax prefits in the px for good prices. Anyone know of a company making custom actions that use ai prefits? Love the idea of having multi caliber choices in one system, but ai rifles are far from my budget.

You can go the route of the WTO switch lug and retro fit your existing action. Or you can buy any number of actions with prefits avaliable from any shops.

Reason I like the idea of ai prefits, is the ability to use a wrench on the flats instead of using a barrel vice.

You can get wrench flats on any barrel. And AI prefits are hand tight then the action has a quick lok screw that is built into the action. That clamps the barrel and holds it.

Would the wto lug require a gunsmith prefit the barrel or would I be able to use prefits for a custom action? Didn't see that information on their site

You need a custom fit for the lug taper, but you can have one barrel cut then have them save the info and then recut another one at any time.

I would honeslty give them a call but like i said you have alot of options for prefits andcustoms actions. All your need is to have them cut wrench flats on the barrel and you can apply about 40 ft lbs of torque with a crows foot and a torque wrench.

Or even simpler than that, terminus zues with hand tight prefits. Easy button.
