Precision Rifle Gear Custom Case Foam in Colorado

I could never figure out the desire for custom-cut foam. If you switch scopes or bipods for example, now you need to "modify" that fancy foam. Or if you get a couple more rifles, how many Pelican cases or foam inserts are you going to stack in the garage?
Buy foam.

I would say its more for if you have one specific rifle that you don't plan on modifying any more and want to be able to safely transport it especially on a plane (since hard cases are required). But I agree for most of my guns I just rotate through 6 soft cases I have and leave them in the safe when not transporting them.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to buy from local US businesses to support my community. I'd rather support a local shop to help keep them in business as opposed to buying foam and an electric turkey cutter from China.
Same with shoes, I try to buy Red Wings or Allen Edmonds, American made brands, and as far as I'm aware they don't make any Velcro shoes.
Oh for heaven's sake...I guess some folks either don't think you can buy another layer of foam for putting other rifles in the case or think that the foam is expensive.
Yes, you can do the job with an electric knife.
But wanting to switch guns to be carried in the very same case is not an objection, to my mind. Just buy the top layer of foam...from Pelican for more $$ or just about anyone else (lots of sources) for less. Have them cut for each rifle you plan to put in the case, and Robert's your Mother's uncle.

One case, many foam cutouts seems like a logical and economical choice.
It's your money and I would say buy foam and an electric knife and go to town. But it you want to have someone else do it for you, go for it. Seems pretty straight forward and making a mistake is not the end of the world. Could be fun and you might find a new hobby that makes you some money.
