wondering if anybody can stear me in the right direction on finding a few custom knifes for hunting,skinning etc any info would help i came across one on this site befor but for the life of me cannot remember the makers name. but thanks for the time.

Crusader Fordge/trident You may find one as good but not any better they are second to none. I have four and they are built like a tank one of the only knives i have owned were the tip hasent broke of under hard use. Customer service has also been second to none. Have a good one

If you want a serious custom, Kim Breed is my neighbor. Yes, THAT Kim Breed, retired MSG Bad Ass and Damascus blade specialist. When I am off work cycle in a couple weeks I get to tour the shop. Kim's stuff is respected world wide and his reputation for quality is above reproach. Man I can't wait to go see the way these guys build blades, it's gonna be freakin COOL!

here...this is a long time friend of many here on the Hide....most here have been beating the tar out of his blades for years......they are all good ju-ju and hold up well.
combat tested and have cut many a hog.....

I have have Juan build about 5 knives for me. All of them are shit and extremely tough. His leather work is pretty damn nice as well.
