Cutting 6.5 Creed barrel

Howdy folks,
I’m sure this has been posted before, but I can’t find much of anything by way of the searchbar, so I’ll try this way(feel free to direct me to a thread if it already exists)
I have a mildly custom rifle with a 30” Bartlein pipe on it, going to have it cut down in the near future. Is 22” too short for a dedicated paper puncher? I was gonna go 24”, but with a brake on it I would be back to around 26-27” overall, and I’d like to keep it slightly shorter.
What do we think?

JP makes competition rifles in 22" so it isn't unheard of. I have a 24" that gets to 1,000 well enough.

I would rather have as much velocity as possible to cheat the wind because my wind calls suck.

There are many people who believe 20" barrels are as long as you should ever have. With your intended purpose there should be nothing wrong with any length you choose.
