I would like to have my BB cut back (to 16" ideally) and threaded for suppressor.

Should I have the barrel slugged before cutting?

Anyone with any experience with doiing this to these guns?

Any gunsmith recommendations?

Thanks!

I want to thread mine as well...don't want it cut, but want it threaded.

I know a guy on RFC had his threaded by ADCO, and they were able to keep the original factory deep crown in tact. Might give them a shot.

Tornado Technologies cut mine to 16" and threaded it 1/2x28. I run it with a Gemtech Alpine-S (in stainless steel). It shoots just as well now as it did before the chop n thread.

I would not hesitate to send it to Tornado Tech, he can do it without pulling the barrel and he's threaded probably a dozen handgun and rifle barrels for me over the years all with excellent results.
