CZ 452 Timney trigger

Has anyone recently installed a timney trigger unit into a .22 CZ 452. This would be the L model trigger unit.

An accurate template or pictures even would help as I don't want to remove too much wood from the laminate stock!

where the factory internals sit, remove wood from the front and the rear. you'll remove more from the rear than the front.

i removed the wood from the rear first and when the barreled action would drop in and pivot where the front of the mechanism made contact, i started removing wood from the area in front of the trigger.

just work slowly with a file and you will be fine.

You don't need a Timney trigger group. I'd highly recommend a Yo Dave Trigger Kit for you 452. All of my 452s have them. They are simply outstanding kits. One kit can even be stretched for several rifles.
