Gunsmithing CZ 527 QUESTION

I just bought a left handed CZ 527 in .204 Ruger. I love everything about the gun except that when you work the bolt it feels a little gritty. Like the action is not as smooth as say a remington or something like that. Is there anything that can be done about this? I know that CZ is not the quality of a remington, but they are not crap by any means. Is there some kind of compound that i can put in the action and work it back and forth a few hundred times to hone everyhting in? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: CZ 527 QUESTION

Give the action a good clean and shoot it. The are a bit stiff at first. The 527 is a lovely action and should free up. In Europe many people would prefer the 527 to a Remmy.
