Gunsmithing CZ 527 Trigger Challenges

I bought my wife a new CZ 527 in .223 Remington. The trigger, as it came out of the box, was terrible. My gunsmith (who has been building match rifles for more than thirty years) has been having a terrible time getting either the regular or 'set' trigger to something resembling a crisp break. Does someone make an after-market trigger for these rifles? Or might anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve a decent trigger job?

Thanks,

DC

Re: CZ 527 Trigger Challenges

Is it rusted? I had to remove some brown colored inhibitor from the parts on my CZ550. But I was able to get a very good trigger adjustment on mine by just following the directions in the manual. And I'm no gunsmith.
