CZ MTR......too good to pass up?

Local sporting goods store has a new CZ MTR for $599 which are normally around $730.

I have read a lot of good things about the CZ 457’s but have never owned a CZ rimfire (currently have a couple of Annies/T1Xs/Finnfires). I don’t NEED another rimfire, but having another accurate paper puncher is always tempting.

Just curious on opinions if this is too good of a deal too pass up or keep saving pennies for 457 VP Chassis or Bergara B-14R?

The best I could do on mine was $660, sounds good to me.

Good deal but it's not going to be really any different than your T1X/Annie/Finnfire. The B14 will put you into the Remington700 footprint and would be a decent change from what you currently have...

I would save up for a B14R / Vudoo / RimX if I already had a T1X and an Annie.

A friend of mine had a 457 MTR at the range Friday. It was shooting well with Center X and SK. He said he had not tried Wolf ammo, I took him some Wolf Match target to try. It would not chamber, he said some other ammo would chamber, due to the match chamber. I did not know it was that tight. May be just his gun. I have a T1X and a B14R, I would save up, and go with a B14R.

Good call. I am a CZ guy, but with what you have, saving up for the Vudoo would be worth it
