    I currently have a shadow 2, 75b and p10c...

wanting a p07 but can’t find one and looking at a p10f OR. It would serve as a match pistol. HD and probably the go to for shtf situation.

I currently use the shadow for range toy and the very few matches I’ve shot since last year.... I love it but not sure it’d be my go to for a “need” type situation... thought if I sold it, it’d fund the p10f and a rmr....

    What you guys think?

I wouldn’t get rid of the S2. And as much as I love CZ (and I have many). For a true SHTF gun... I have to go with Glock. If you’re really bugging out or scrounging for stuff, then you’ll be more likely to find mags/parts for a Glock than a CZ.

Now, if you talking about adding a CZ because you want it, then definitely get another

Great timing for me! Have a guy that lives in the same city, hit me up last night on a local forum with p07 for a great deal. Much cheaper than a p10f and that cajun p01 LOL.

I’m fresh out of glocks, except the 43x and 48 that me and the wife carry. But I’ve been carrying the p10c a lot more lately.

I just couldn’t make myself keep my glocks as the CZ’s took over.

I'm glad you found a good local deal.

However, don't discount why Cajun Gun Works CZs cost the money they do until you actually compare your stock CZ with one of the exact same model, that has had their Pro Carry package done to it.

6 month wait and $500 and it's worth every dollar and every day worth of wait.

    I love my P-10F

I didn't love it last year, but that's probably because I kept bouncing between it and the P-09 that I was so used to using for USPSA.

This winter I forced myself to use the P-10F exclusively as my only competition pistol. I have used nothing else for dry fire, live fire practice, or matches and it's become my go to.

I carry a P-10C, and both it and the F are Optics Ready models.

CZ's optics plate system is IMO the best OEM system and better than almost all aftermarket systems. Certainly better than any aftermarket plate system available for CZs.

I've detailed stripped traditional CZs, DA/SA CZs with the Omega trigger, and the P-10s. The P-10 is hands down the easiest to service by a mile.

I fully Cajunized my Shadow 2 and it was 100% worth it and night and day different. Stock was good, but the trigger after the Cajun stuff is pretty awesome. I'm getting around 5 pounds on the first DA pull, but it's so smooth.

I sent my first one to CGW on a recommendation. Expensive move...
Once I got that one back, every single one I get (that is not from CZ Custom) gets sent to them for their pro package.

I'd like to get a CZ custom long slide. My 2 favorite pistols are my 6in 2011 and my Shadow 2.

This one is a bit of a thing of beauty when you hold it (after a very long wait)

The S2 is definitely a great do all pistol. Mine is my EDC (AIWB), duty, comp, training, SHTF, fun pistol. I wouldn’t mind having a P09/10 as a backup though in case this one gets seized for evidence if I’m ever involved in an on/off duty shooting.

A Shadow 2 will do everything you want as long as you have a solid way of carrying it.

This would be my choice, but anything CZ Custom is a thing of beauty. I'd also like an accu-shadow.

You stick all that down your pants?

I’d love to CCW a shadow, or even my infinity 5”, but it ether prints to the point I might as well open carry, or it’s hitting my junk or ilium, I’m 6’ IBW

Do you like the grip tape or stippling better? For some reason, I find the Talon tape works better on the p10 series than on other guns. Maybe its just that the shape is already great but the traction is trash.

Have you noticed that the shadow two seems to be picky as far as how soon it needs to be cleaned? Just from shooting mine alongside my other striker fired guns they seem to go a lot longer without having any issues

Yep, and I’m 5’8” using an AnR designs aiwb holster. Is it as comfortable as my G26? No, but its far more assuring.

It gets cleaned more now due to my PD’s policy on cleaning duty guns. Before that, it did not get cleaned. I am not a cleaning nazi, even my main AR only gets the occasional lubricant after a few hundred to thousand rounds.

@308pirate What red trigger is that on your P10? After feeling a few P10 triggers, its very hard to believe anything could improve on the factory trigger. I’d totally get one if I needed a striker fired handgun.

    Looks like theta.

    That ^ https://hbindustries.net/store/shop/cz-p10-theta-trigger-kit/

The flat face makes a straight press SO much easier if you have fingers on the short side. I need to use the small backstrap, for example.

It also has an HBI extended magazine release and a Suarez NP3-coated firing pin. The NP-3 pin doesn't seem to make a difference that I can tell. Oh well at least I have a spare now with the OEM pin. The recoil spring is a CGW 14.5 lb, perfect for the 135 PF loads that I like. Striker spring is OEM.

I'm someone who needs time to get used to a new pistol. I went to the P-10 100% on December 17 and since then I've accumulated 1180 rounds plus who knows how many draws, reloads, transitions, and STOM cycles in dry fire. Now any other pistol feels odd in my hands.

Right now it's without the SRO. I took if off a week ago to shoot Production until the Michgan Mitten Match (low cap level 2) the first weekend of May.

I have a one day Matt Pranka pistol class on 4/9. I'll be rocking my P-10C/RMR combo for that and I'll throw the F in the bag as a backup, though I doubt I'll need it.

    Do not sell the Shadow!

I have shot and owned some very nice pistols over the years, and when it comes to the CZ Shadow family: some are as good, none are better.

If you haven’t gone whole hog on the CZC or Cajun stuff yet, stop messing up, life is short, do it.

I have a bunch of nice race guns and the weapon I take to the field is a P-09. Holosun, Tlr-vir-2

I shoot a TSO as my showing off gun.

And oddly I have a ruger 57 for long distance pistol work.

I’m torn between the P10C optics ready and the p07 and an optics cut for my next gun.

I love my p10c. It’s my go to for the boog. I also have a s2 but honestly I don’t really shoot it much. Granted I don’t shoot pistol that much anymore. I do have a Cajun sp-01 that I prefer over my s2. Cajun the s2 and don’t look and and also get a p10 and throw in the HBI trigger you’ll have the best of both worlds.

36 grit silicon carbide for matches (P-10F)

DIY stippling for carry (P-10C) I'll post a pic of it when I get home.

I've stippled (or re-stippled) four or five guns already and I've developed a style that suits me in terms of grip vs destroying clothing.

Any idea why most places have the p10c mags labeled as discontinued??

having a hard time finding them
Who is most places? Are you sure it didn't say out of stock or something like that?

Maybe they discontinued carrying them because they can't get them in stock.

You might have trouble finding them in stock, but they're out there

I assure you CZ has not discontinued them
