Germans definetly took part in D day , just not as the allied nation.

But you can forgive the Brits ,country is barely holding together (Scotts might walk away after Brexit),muslems and russian mafiosi run London ,goverment is bussy outlawing plastic knives and forks ,while royals play the role of Kardashians ,only thing still working is proaganda machine.

A D-Day was the bigest british project ,even tough Ike was in charge. Most of the heavy lifting was by the British. Nowdays Brits are not even a shadow of former Empire.

Of 1,213 warships involved, 892 were British/Canadian,200 US. Of 4,126 landing craft involved, 805 American, 3,261 British.
Two-thirds of the 12,000 aircraft involved in D-Day were RAF/RCAF. Two-thirds of the troops landed on the beaches were British/Canadian. Eisenhower was supreme commander but all his most senior officers in charge of land, sea and air were British.

Sources for your claims?

And even if true, the US took on and defeated the empire of Japan virtually singlehandedly over a theatre of war orders of magnitude more vast and remote than anything the British undertook in all of the 20th century.

Lists of ships planes and units partaking in D-Day is published numerous times on the net. .

Honestly Japs were no where near WW2 Germany , huge in terms of distances and logistics needed for the naval and air war but minor league in land war . Tech they used till end of the war would be obsolete in Europe after 1941 at the latest. Once V-E day was over, the short Soviet war with japan demonstrated japs were no match for Allied armies of 1945 ,90 soviet divisions went trough Japs in land combat like lighting

Germans were allied, with Japan, Italy, Argentina. Thailand, Iraq, Danzig, Finland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, France, and many others that were pissed at the Soviets or the UK and French,,,,

WW2 was complicated, we should have stayed out of Europe and went after Japan, wed be a much happier and richer country today.

The number of units, in and of itself, means nothing. Number the manpower involved from each country and then we can talk.

As far as the Japanese go, only an idiot dismisses them that easily. Their naval sophistication overshadowed Germany's tenfold and what their land armies may have lacked in technical sophistication they more than made up in savagery, tactics, and pure balls.

No source necessary. We all know they were trying to compensate for Montgomery representing them.

Today you think of history as you see in the movies and fairy tales made post war.

Even if you throw in manpower involved Germany alone suffered about 3 times the loses of Japan and it also had bunch of allies unlike Japan.

As for savagery , tactics ,balls ?? you forget Nazi machine slaughtered milions ,but today only casuatlies that matter for some reason are Jews even tough they very only a faction of total and were also the only non players in fighting nazis. Japanese savagery was not much differnt that that of Nazis against people in the East ,you just have more movies about it.

This is what was happening in the Southern and Eastern Europe

As for tactics !?

Which ever way you turn it war agains Japan was not comparable to all out war in Europe. In all metrics of war production in Japan was totaly outclassed by all other beligirents from day one.

''Around 1937 Japan’s industry amounted for 5,2% of worldwide capacity. That was on par with France or a bit more than half of the capacity of the UK or the USSR. Yet the U.S.A. had more than 30% ''
''The Japanese were specialized in light industry products during the 30s, but they also had a fairly developped heavy industry. In 42–45 they produced 24,1 millions tons of crude steel & 361,000 tons of aluminium. The U.S.A. produced respectively 334,5 millions tons and 4,123,200 tons ''

If the US didn't send millions of tons of materials ect to the Isles they would have fell.
They had gotten their asses kicked right along with the French and others.
Hitler, luckily, started up Barbarossa and split his forces along two fronts.

Indeed ,likely would. US manufacturing definetly helped a great deal all allies. Leand lease provided for much of Soviet transport needs and lets not forget the deadliest allied pilots flew Bell Airacobras in the east , inferior plane for high altitude fight in the West but great in low altitude combat on the Eastern front.

Adolph and Mannerheim recordings ,quite interesting to hear in full

We should have stayed out of the european wars,,

Trump should stop cavorting with our oldest enemy,,, whos current intel services actively participated in trying to hold a coup here in our Republic,,, Fuck Europe and teh UK, your shallow nostalgic vision of WW2 is naive as fuck.
